Mountain View Country Club perfectly represents the valley’s Spanish Colonial history, with its majestic architecture and lush landscaping. Its 18-hole championship golf course, impressive clubhouse, and many amenities offer world-class enjoyment for its members.
One of La Quinta’s newest clubs, Mountain View Country Club was established in 2003 around Arnold Palmer’s Signature Course. The reputed Toll Brothers created this resort with the clubhouse as well as a 7,000 square-foot tennis, fitness, and spa center. Visitors love the openness of the club and residents love the homes which are situated on hillsides looking down over the golf course. There are 425 semi-custom homes in this guard-gated community and the collections include Reserve, Villas, and Vista. These homes range from 2,500 to 4,500 square feet. And fifty condominiums were debuted in The Village in 2006. Homeowner’s association fees include seasonal flowers and front yard landscaping. Residents enjoy peace, security, and luxury but are also close to stores and restaurants.
Mountain View Country Club is located across from The Citrus Country Club on Jefferson Street. There are many options for golf and social memberships. Active members love the Fitness and Spa Center with many packages available. The fitness center offers strength training, aerobics, and cardiovascular training. There are classes for yoga, Pilates, hiking, golf, tennis, and group activities. In the spa there are facials and massages as well as over 30 different treatments; the locker facilities and steam rooms are also immaculate.
The dining facilities offer many specials in its restaurant, cantina, and snack bar. Members enjoy events like Winemaker Dinners, Jazz Brunch Sunday, and Happy Hour. There are also many clubs within this country club including book clubs, hiking clubs, bible study, golf groups, poker clubs, and team trivia clubs.
